October Monthly Meeting Announcement

The Dawson County Republican Party will be holding a joint meeting with the Pickens County Republican Party at Big Canoe for its October meeting. The meeting date is one week earlier, on Tuesday, October 14th, starting at 6 PM.
This meeting is a great opportunity to meet three candidates, namely Christopher Mora, who is running for the US House District 11 seat; Kelvin King, who is running for Secretary of State (his wife Janelle King, member of the Georgia State Election Board will also be in attendance) and Rep. William Wade, who running for the GA D51 Senate seat (Steve Gooch's current position.) Please wear RED to honor Charlie Kirk.
Big Canoe's address is 461 Wolfscratch Drive in Jasper, GA 30143. Please contact Lisa Lillemon, chairwoman of the Dawson County Rep. Party, at 770-500-6871 if you plan to attend. Your name will be given to the gate staff to ensure admittance.
In the months to come and at the Moonshine Festival from October 25-26 we will be offering you other opportunities to meet additional candidates for the various 2026 elections. It's a great chance to "meet-and-greet" the elected officials who will be representing you in the future.

September Monthly Meeting Announcement
The Dawson County Republican Party will be holding its monthly meeting, Monday, September 15th, at the Professional Building at 30 Main Street, near the Board of Education building, in Dawsonville. The meeting starts at 6:00 PM with a social "hour," followed by the official meeting which begins at 6:30 PM. Refreshments are provided via donation.
Our special guest this month is Doug Sherrill, a former Lumpkin County Commissioner, founder and CEO of a successful land surveying and drone mapping company and active leader in local youth sports. He is a Republican candidate running for the District 9 Georgia House position currently held by Will Wade.
Doug is a proud North Georgia resident who wants to use his professional work experience, proven Conservative values and extensive community connections to represent us in Atlanta. His platform includes stronger schools, lower insurance costs, power grid and infrastructure growth to meet the needs of Georgia's future and all-around common sense with regard to regulations. Additionally, our September monthly meeting is also the drawing for our fundraising BBQ raffle. There will be two winners of a 10-12 person BBQ dinner, with all the trimmings.
