The Dawson County Republican Party will be holding its monthly meeting, Monday, November 17th, at the Margie Weaver Sr. Center on 201 Recreation Road in Dawsonville, not our usual place at the Professional Building. The meeting starts at 6:00 PM with a social "hour," followed by the official meeting which begins at 6:30 PM. Refreshments are provided via donation. Our special guest this month is Chris Dockery, who is running for the District 9 GA Representative seat currently held by William Wade. Chris wears many hats. He founded and still operates DockCo Construction after nearly 30 years. He served in the US Army for several years, was deployed to Iraq in the early 2000s and retired in 2017 as a Lt. Colonel.
